![]() I used Dropbox w/Boxcryptor for 5-6 years successfully until BC was purchased by DBX and they shut down the service. Until I get this working, I'm limited in what files make sense for me to keep in Mega/Cryptomator since I can't access them everywhere. Mountain duck is one of them but it only works on windows and mac. Die Entschlsselung funktioniert wie gewohnt, jedoch eben das weitere Erstellen eines weiteren Ordners mit dem simplen Namen Dokumente. The method you use to sync all depends on your cloud drive provider and operating system. mit der neuesten Version von Crpytomator strzt bei Erstellen eines weiteren Ordner im bereits vorhandenen Ordner der gesamte Rechner ab. I can run Mega and Cryptomator apps, but Cryptomator doesn't seem to show Mega as one of the supported cloud drive types, and I can't seem to use the generic 'provider' option either. You should to be safe open the vault and get the files down instead of syncing the vault itself. This is what i understood. I should mention I'm running Ventura 13.1 OSX.īut I do have a problem, which is using this arrangement on *mobile* (IOS). When you decrypt the vault it just shows up as another drive on your system. Restart would fail unless it was forced / crashed. Force quitting Cryptomator would not fix things. ![]() The same version of Cryptomator running on Monterey 12.0.x (x1) would not unmount the drive. ![]() The only difference is that Veracrypt puts everything into a single file, while Cryptomator encrypts the files individually. In both cases, the application mounts the container for you to peruse. Then create your Cryptomator vault inside the Mega drive. A second quit-and-lock command will quit Cryptomator. While in Veracrypt you have containers, in Cryptomator you have vaults. You just first configure Mega and have it sitting there as a virtual drive. Cryptomator Multi-platform client-side encryption for files in the cloud. Cryptomator provides transparent, client-side encryption for the cloud (and locally, too). I think conceptually the idea is that neither Mega nor Cryptomator are aware of each other. This means that your vaults are directly accessible from there. I got it to work but didn't do anything special. The team behind Cryptomator has rewritten the app in Swift, and with version 2.0 the app is completely integrated into the Files app.
